Academics

Coursework, awards, competitions, leadership, and service — the academic record behind the projects.

For counselors and admissions readers. This page collects everything on the academic side in one place. If you are here to evaluate technical work instead, the About page and the Projects page are the engineering-side equivalents.

Honors & Awards

NOAI — National Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence

Competed in the National Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence, representing the International Community School (Bangkok). Prepared by engineering a minimax game-playing AI from scratch — implementing DFS, alpha-beta pruning, transposition tables, and symmetry caching to reach strong play without any ML library. The algorithm design work directly deepened my understanding of search theory and optimization, both relevant to AI security research.

VEX Robotics

Qualified for nationals with my team at ICS Bangkok (2025–26), and qualified to States as an individual competitor at Bull Run Middle School (2020–22). Multi-year competitor across collaborative robot design, build, and programming.

Global Citizen Award (2024)

Recognized for Theatre Tech contribution and service.

Boy Scouts of America — Life Rank

Currently completing my Eagle Scout service project, the BSA's highest rank — leading the social-media buildout for the Saphan Siam Foundation (see Community Service below). Earned the Programming and Robotics Merit Badges (2020).

Competitions & Hackathons

I compete in hackathons as a way to ship complete, deployed software under time pressure rather than leaving projects half-finished. Recent entries include Hack America 2026 (a privacy-first RAG study tool), the International AI Agents Hackathon 2026 (a 6-agent CrewAI pipeline), the USAII Hackathon 2026 (Villages, a full-stack AI learning platform), PhysTech 2026, and HackMars 3.0.

Leadership & Activities

STEAMXchange — Tech Lead

Lead the tech side of STEAMXchange, a club that teaches children about STEAM subjects, including at the club's Science & Engineering Day event.

NOAI — Thailand National AI Olympiad

Competitor, actively preparing for IOAI qualification. Self-studying classical ML, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision.

Chess

Competitive player rated approximately 1700. The search and game-theory concepts connect directly to my AI and algorithms work.

Honor Band — Trumpet

Performs university-level repertoire in selected honor-band ensembles.

Work Experience

Alongside school I hold two ongoing roles — Head of Testing at Polaris Student and web developer for Neurole — plus freelance and client work.

Community Service

House of Blessings, Bangkok (2023–24)

Taught underserved students Scratch programming and Canva design, helping them build and present their own creative projects.

Saphan Siam Foundation (2025–26) — Eagle Scout Service Project

Led the effort to build a Bangkok-based non-profit's entire social-media presence from scratch as my Eagle Scout service project — sole technical and communications lead across Line, Facebook, and Instagram. Created content plans, set up platform profiles, and advised on how to reach a wider community audience through each platform's native features and posting cadence.

College Plans

Class of 2027 — targeting a BS in Computer Science with concentrations or minors in AI/ML and Cybersecurity. I am a U.S. citizen currently studying abroad in Bangkok, so I apply as a domestic student.

Applying for the Stokes Educational Scholarship Program (NSA) — a merit-based scholarship for students committed to careers in national security and cybersecurity. My work in algorithm design, security tooling, and applied AI aligns directly with NSA's research and mission areas.

Career Goals

Target Fields
Software Development AI / Machine Learning Cybersecurity

Long-term, I want to work at the overlap of these three — building systems that are intelligent, secure, and production-grade. Whether that's ML infrastructure, security tooling, or applied AI research, I'm building the foundation now through competitions, hackathons, and self-directed projects.
